The project involved designing a logistics warehouse within the BSZL Logistics Park located in the Csepel Freeport area. The facility comprises four independently rentable warehouse modul, wchich are also operable together. Primarily serving as a distribution hub, the warehouse includes standard pallet storage and a dedicated co-packing area.
The exterior enclosure features micro-ribbed PIR insulated steel sandwich panels as the facade cladding system. Cornices, trims, and cover profiles are fabricated from matching materials with consistent surface finishes. The building’s base color is light grey.
In line with the emerging BSZL corporate identity, the C2 building mirrors its neighboring C1 and E2 buildings by incorporating a pronounced horizontal band at the upper part of the facade, rendered in anthracite grey for this project. This dark grey shade is also applied to the steel tray-sheet cladding of pedestrian entrance canopies.
On the long, blank southern facade facing the dock, we introduced a playful architectural feature: at the building’s midpoint, the base light grey and upper anthracite bands invert colors with a pixelated gradient transition. This striking design makes the building easily recognizable even from Budafok, across the Danube.
A consistent branding element on all four facades is a one-module-wide green band displaying the text "green logistics" symbolizing BSZL Logistics Park’s commitment to sustainable logistics practices.
